Geotechnical work was done using limited boreholes and heavy weight deflectometer (HWD) testing by Dynatest of the USA. The taxiway has a design lifespan of 25yrs but is expected to exceed this by at least 15 years. The top layer high strength concrete was designed and installed at 14-16″ thick with a 28 day compressive strength of 5,000psi. EF Douglas and Associates is proud to have collaborated with Dr. Mike in providing the design services to CONTEC Dt who performed the construction works at the RLB International and completed associated works in early March 2022.
